Survey: “Torino, Che Meraviglia!”

 

Purpose of the processing

Dear Participant, pursuant to and for the purposes of EU Regulation 2016/679 on Data Protection, hereinafter also for brevity “GDPR”, we inform you that personal data (such as your name, surname, country, email – all mandatory) you entered in the survey participation form will be used to fulfill legal obligations and carry out the following activities:

  1. being able to enroll in the survey called “Torino, Che Meraviglia!”;
  2. to be able to include you in the meritocratic evaluation of the three evocative words that the prize described in the regulation could assign;
  3. allow you to participate in further marketing initiatives following the participation in the survey.

Please note that participation in the Survey is reserved for adults.

In addition to personal data, the IP address will be recorded.

 

Processing methods

Your personal data collected within the registration form will be processed mainly with the aid of electronic or automated means in a special electronic database in compliance with the minimum-security measures prescribed by the GDPR.

 

Storage times

The data will be stored and properly processed for a maximum of two years. Therefore, personal data will be processed only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and possibly in order to satisfy legal, accounting or reporting obligations. After two years, these data will be deleted or anonymized.

The data will be processed electronically, also by third parties, specifically appointed by the Promoter to carry out this activity, and for this purpose appointed as data processing managers, always in compliance with the provisions of the GDPR and guaranteeing the security of the personal data.

In particular, the Promoter has appointed the company Immodrone S.r.l. with registered office in Corso Castefidardo 30 / a, 10129 Turin – Italy (VAT number: IT11341510011) as data processor in the database maintenance and management activities in which your personal data will be inserted when registering for the survey “Torino, Che Meraviglia!”.

We inform you that, in any case and at any time, you can always ask for the rectification and / or cancellation of your name and the personal data associated with it, or express the right to object by sending an e-mail to TorinoCheMeraviglia.privacy@immodrone.it after the registration phase.

 

Nature of data provision and purpose

1) Treatment for registration purposes

The provision of your personal data – and in particular name, surname, country, age, email, telephone number, acceptance of the regulation (“I accept the Privacy regulation”) and the three evocative words are mandatory for your survey registration. Failure to provide the aforementioned data, acceptance of the regulation and the three evocative words will therefore not allow the continuation of the registration to the survey and, consequently, the participation of the merit assessment by the evaluating Commission.

 

Your personal data may be processed by the survey promoter for:

  • eliminate double registrations (according to the regulation, an individual can only participate once and only in the survey)
  • notify you, via e-mail, of the registration in the survey “Torino, Che Meraviglia!”

 

2) Treatment for Marketing purposes

By ticking the “I accept the Privacy Policy” box, your data may be used by the Promoter for advertising, promotional and commercial activities relating to the products / services of the “Torino, Che Meraviglia!” Survey promoter.

The data will also be shared with three trade associations: see 3) Treatment for transfer to third parties.

Your personal data may be processed by the Promoter for:

  • invite / contact you to participate in market research and surveys (via e-mail);
  • send / contact you (via e-mail) editorial and informational newsletters connected with the cultural and tourist activities organized in Turin and its province;
  • send / contact you (via e-mail) commercial and / or promotional advertising material, including promotional and / or commercial offers in relation to products and / or services connected with the cultural and tourist activities organized in Turin and the Province.

These activities, when implemented, will have a monthly contact frequency (maximum 12 communications per year).

All the fields of the registration form must be actively filled in by the interested person by ticking the relevant checkbox, thus expressing an explicit consent to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of the processing declared in this regulation.

The answers to the survey allow the Promoter to outline which is the ideal vacation for each participant. The activities selected by the Participant will indicate the contents that will be the object of the Marketing purposes (for example, those who express a preference for a Cultural holiday, will not receive information / offers relating to Outdoor / Sport activities).

In case of awarding of the Prize, the users (winner plus companion) will consent the Promoter to use the photo / video images that will be taken during the award event or during their stay in Turin.

The images will be used for normal communication activities by the Promoter on the channels normally used for such activities, including (non-exhaustive list): local, national and international newspapers, news-letters, websites, social networks, etc.

In relation to the processing of data, you may also exercise at any time the rights provided by the GDPR EU 2016/679, of which we report the following article 15.

The data may be transferred to the three partner associations of the “Torino, Che Meraviglia!” Survey, as well as to their associates:

The three Associations and Associates undertake to use the shared data for the same Marketing purposes stated in this Regulation.

Your personal data may be processed by third parties for:

  • invite / contact you to participate in market research and surveys (via e-mail)
  • send / contact you (via e-mail) editorial and informational newsletter connected with the cultural tourist activities organized in Turin and the Province
  • send / contact you (via e-mail) commercial and / or promotional advertising material, including promotional and / or commercial offers in relation to products and / or services of connected with the cultural tourist activities organized in Turin and the Province

NB: The aforementioned purposes may possibly be pursued by the Promoter also through companies controlled by the same, connected and / or participated in Italy and / or abroad (and operating within EU countries), to which your data will therefore be communicated.

General data protection regulation (EU / 2016/679) Article 15 (Person’s access right):

  1. The interested party has the right to obtain from the controller the confirmation that the processing of personal data concerning him is being carried out and, in this case, to obtain access to personal data and to the following information:
    1. the purposes of the processing;
    2. the categories of personal data in question;
    3. the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be communicated, in particular if they are recipients of third countries or international organizations;
    4. when possible, the period of storage of personal data provided or, if this is not possible, the criteria used to determine this period;
    5. the existence of the data subject’s right to ask the data controller to rectify or the cancellation of personal data or the limitation of the processing of personal data concerning him or to oppose their treatment;
    6. the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;
    7. if the data is not collected from the interested party, all available information on their origin;
    8. the existence of an automated decision-making process, including the profiling referred to in Article 22, paragraphs 1 and 4, and, at least in such cases, significant information on the logic used, as well as the importance and expected consequences of such treatment for the ‘interested.
  2. If personal data are transferred to a third country or an international organization, the data subject has the right to be informed of the existence of adequate guarantees pursuant to Article 46 relating to the transfer.
  3. The data controller provides a copy of the personal data being processed. In the event of further copies requested by the interested party, the data controller may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs. If the interested party submits the request by electronic means, and unless otherwise indicated by the interested party, the information is provided in an electronic format in common use.
  4. The right to obtain a copy referred to in paragraph 3 must not affect the rights and freedoms of others.
